Launched This June : A New Podcast Exploring Education Today

Mrs Flynn, Principal and Ms Le Marchand, Vice-Principal are delighted to have launched their new podcast dedicated to thoughtful, informed conversations about education and child development in the modern independent school landscape.

 

 

 

Conversations That Matter in Education

Designed for parents, educators and anyone with an interest in children’s learning and wellbeing, the podcast explores some of the most important questions facing education today, including:

  • Why choose an independent education?
  • The impact of class sizes on learning and relationships
  • Raising scholars: nurturing curiosity, confidence and ambition
  • Wellbeing in the modern Prep school
  • Supporting children academically, socially and emotionally in a fast‑changing world

Each episode offers practical insight alongside reflective discussion, drawing on real‑world experience from leading voices in education.

Expert Guests and Trusted Voices

Mrs Flynn and Ms Le Marchand will be joined by a range of respected guests who bring depth, expertise and perspective to each conversation. Early contributors include:

  • Jo Cameron, Head of Queenswood School (Episode 1)
  • Ann Massey, Head of St Albans High School for Girls (STAHS) (Episode 3)

Alongside senior school leaders, the podcast will also feature professionals involved in education, pastoral care and children’s welfare, ensuring a rounded and child‑centred approach to every topic discussed.
